It is tradition to use the "royal we."
I decided to paint Luna on a tower in canterlot. Some people probably still prefer the old Luna design, but I think the new Luna is absolutely gorgeous. Especially that starry hair.
Also this is my first time using Paint Tool SAI. I LOVE IT.

She looks very glompable.
And maybe it's 'cause I'm not a hardcore fan, but by the time I saw Luna Eclipsed, I'd forgotten that she'd looked so differently in like the last 30 seconds of the premiere. Imagine my surprise when I watched the premiere for the second time! Like many, I like S1 Luna as a younger version; maybe untold millennia ago, she and Celestia were like Twilight, mortal ponies who ascended to alicorn status. Luna would have looked like her S1 self as a normal mare, and slowly grown into her normal design, with a temporary reversion to her earlier look either because her de-Nightmare-Moon-ing hadn't quite settled, or because she felt like she had to earn her right to rule alongside Celestia again and deliberately chose not to look princess-y.
